Sitting in my dad's office chair, looking out his window, I am amazed. After almost a week of 200 degree weather (minor exaggeration here) the past couple of days have been rather...overcast. It is the kind of weather that I am fond of, thus one of the reasons why I am going to England, but I find myself yearning for the sun. In just a few days I will be living abroad for 6 weeks in the dreary, rainy weather of London, England. As much as I love rain, I wanted to soak up Vitamin D from the sun here before I left. Perhaps, this is California's way of saying "hey look! I can be overcast too! Don't leave me!" I'm sorry confusing California climate, you perplex meteorologists enough with your spontaneous changes, you don't have to change for me. Be yourself. I'll be home soon enough and will enjoy you even more when I find that the grass is not always greener on the other side (IF this happens anyways...but technically it will be greener where I am going because of all the rain they have and that we don't).
I just took my Abnormal Psychology final and my brain is now in a sort of liquidy, acidy, schlllooofff state. One more final tomorrow. Two more projects to finish due Friday. Saturday...HELLOOOO ENGLAND!

I am turning into a Smurf
For some very odd reason...my hands, particularly my left hand, turns blue at odd times. It started a couple days ago and I could just not understand why. At first my hypochondriacness kicked in thinking I was obtaining some type of disease. Does sars turn your skin blue? Or I thought possibly I was turning into this guy. I can wash it off though...after frantic scrubbing. At first it was very subtle...and I thought maybe it was my silver soap dispenser (it does turn my soup darker). Or maybe it was my jacket? But I've worn that jacket for years and it never did anything before.
Today during class I felt the need to go and wash my hands. It wasn't till I was looking down at my hands to wash them did I notice that both of my hands were severly...blue. It washed off (after much rubbing)...making me wonder if I possibly could have rubbed some off on my face during the day. What did I eat for lunch? I wondered...getting more and more soap. Was it my laptop? That's...silver. I grabbed a paper towel to dry my hands and it hit me...what other sort of object do I use to quickly dust off my hands? ...yes, my jeans. My new favorite jeans that I washed inside out (it told me too) is what I believe is smurfing my hands.
Yay! I'm not diseased.
